U.S. SEPTIC OPERATOR TOOL

Septic pumping profitable rate-card calculator

Build a job price from gallons, disposal, truck time, labor and your actual route capacity.

Free operator worksheet. It does not set consumer prices, regulatory fees, or a quoted price for another company.

JOB ECONOMICS

Build a rate from truck hours—not a competitor's price.

ROUTE CARD

What this one job is asking from the route

Truck/crew time1.58 hours direct
Capacity after non-billable time1.93 route hours
Gallons to dispose1,000 gal

Before publishing a rate, separately define minimum trip charge, included gallons, extra-gallon price, access/digging, travel zone, disposal pass-through, inspection work, credit-card fees, emergency scope and taxes.

Start with the job you have to run

One thousand gallons does not mean one universal rate. Disposal access, drive time, field labor, tank access and how much time the truck spends unavailable for billed work can change the required price materially. This tool exposes each input so a company can maintain its own rate card.

Sources and boundaries

EPA guidance explains the pumping, handling and disposal context. Current provider and operator pages are only price/process observations—not a national tariff or a claim that every operator has the same cost base.
